Sleep played outside of and around Atlanta this time, so we decided to make it a road trip to Birmingham, 2.5 hours away. There were a couple of breweries next door to explore and decent BBQ. But that’s beside the point. The Saturn is a bar, a gaming haven, and a music venue all in one, and it’s clean, organized, non-smoking, fun, and in Birmingham, Alabama? I guess that’s why you travel, to find gems like these in unlikely places.
