KMFDM – Masquerade – Atlanta, Georgia – Oct 11, 2017

The first concert I ever saw at the Masquerade was KMFDM at the old mill on October 25, 2009. Eight whole years later, they returned to Atlanta! We saw them at Brutal Assault this summer on their Hell Yeah tour, and the lighting was hectic and hard to photograph in. This time around, it was nice being home and in a small venue, and the lighting was photo-friendly most of the time. (If you have the setlist, please update it here!).

The crowd was very diverse, lots of people dressed up or in costumes, and very respectful of the band. However, during the encore, some guy leaped across the barricade onto the stage, then leaped back into the crowd. You’ll see his photos in the album below, so feel free to let him know that jumping on stage isn’t warranted for. There’s also a guy dressed in a mummy costume he made himself (and from what I remember, I think he made it just for this show?). That’s dedication.
